Every year for my birthday (at least since I was like 4) Dad and I have gone to a Rockies game.
Although I’m pathetically helpless when it comes to playing the sport, I actually really like watching it. I think that anyone can enjoy any sport, they just have to know the rules- but in order to take the time to learn the rules, there has to be some sort of motivation. That’s just my logic anyway.
We’ve gone to tons of games over the years. The first time I got a foul ball, the box seats, Dinger’s signature, the play-off tie breaker game (<– my favorite) we’ve gone to tons. This time around we had front row seats on the third base side. It was a great view, like being involved in the action.
Although the team didn’t have their best night ever, I had a lot of fun.
After the game, we decided to wander the 16th street mall in Denver. After getting lost multiple times, we ended up going into a restaurant called the Hard Rock CafĂ©. Great “thick shakes.”
