One day I was in study hall and I was doing my spelling. After recess was over, I accidentally left my homework folder in study hall and somehow one of my books got stuck in someone else’s desk. A few weeks later (November 24, 2010), my mom went to get me a new homework folder while I was at drums. Unfortunately, they didn’t have red, so she got me orange. She said, “The best way to find your old folder is to BUY a new one.” Which happened to be true, the next day at the end of the school day, Ms. Pedrett found in the lab, my homework folder and a missing book (not mine). That same day we rearranged our desks and the person’s desk who I got, had my missing book in it! Murphy’s Law (PS. We decided to keep the orange folder).

Sunday, November 14th, 2010Have you ever seen a drum set? One day (on November 14, 2010), I was talking with my dad and we decided to sell my old ATV. He finally got to sell it to someone and I got $200.00. After school the next day, we went to buy a drum set from a man named Al. Coincidentally, Al used to be my instructor’s instructor for drums! And then my mom told me that there is something called the rule of six. [NOTE: from mom: it’s actually called 6 Degrees of Separation] It means if you meet someone, then you can figure out how you know them through six people or less. I knew him through ONE, James, my instructor! After that, we went to a place that is similar to 5 Guys called Smash Burger. I still say my dad’s cooking is better 😉 We went home and I did homework while dad setup the drums.
THUMP! The house vibrated. I was playing on my drums and my sister, Courtney, was upstairs (she has a whole other story) and I was annoying her! She said it was the worst idea, I say it was the best! Then Heather came in because she heard me playing, so I hit the crash cymbal as hard as I could. She clutched her ears! It was very funny.
To learn more about that day, you can read my sister’s blog: A Bad Idea or you can also read my mom’s blog: We Convert A Living Room
NOTE: My draftbook from school helped me write this post. THANKS Ms. Herzog!
