Abby Lynae Fast…

Thursday, April 28th, 2011

A couple of posts ago, I titled one “ABC” for Abby Beats Cancer. Sadly, last night, she didn’t make it.

Abby was diagnosed with Epithelial Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer.

Although Abby sat two seats behind me in English class, I never really got to know her, and now I will always regret never taking the chance to. She seemed like a great person, inside and out, and she will be loved and missed forever.

Abby, even though we hardly knew each other, you have touched my heart and life in more ways than you can possibly imagine. My prayers are with you and those who love you, even now. Rest in peace Abby, you’re home.

To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funnybone.

Colorado High School Activities Association…

Today we had “CHSSA” competitions for the choir. I got out of a couple of my classes to help out. I had to escort the choirs from one door to the next… a full six feet away. Mostly it was a job of making sure we stayed on schedule and the kids stayed quiet in the halls. It got me out of gym, so even though it was a little boring, it was worth it. 😉

Abby Beats Cancer.

A sophomore named Abby Fast was diagnosed with cancer sometime before winter break, and the treatment isn’t working, so over the next 2 weeks my school is raising money for an experimental treatment. She sat behind me in English class, and that hits a little close to home.

Sending my best wishes to her, and praying for everyone.

Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and fat.

It’s probably not a good idea to be chewing on a toothpick if you’re talking to the president, because what if he tells a funny joke and you laugh so hard you spit the toothpick out and it hits him in the face or something.

Haircut(s)…

So on Sunday Debbie (our haircut lady) came over with her son, Mario. I was watching him after my haircut while she cut other people’s hair.

Mario was cutting a picture that he had coloured. When he was done, he showed it to me. As I was looking at it he grabbed my hair… and took a large snip out of it… the conniving genius waited until I was momentarily distracted. Luckily it blends in okay…

Hey, all my loyal stalkers,

Sorry for not posting in ages! After my creative writing class ended I had no motivation, but I’ve decided to start posting again… we’ll see how long this lasts…
