All you need for a good movie is a gun and a girl.

Gun Range…
Wednesday, December 28th, 2011So my Dad took me and William to the gun range. As in a place where people (*cough* rednecks) go to shoot at targets.
I mostly went for curiosity. That and I have a personal belief that everyone should shoot a gun once in their life, so that they understand it.
Honestly, I don’t understand why people would go there regularly. Again, I went for the first time so it was actually kind of interesting for me, but I don’t think I would be able to go periodically. There wasn’t much of a purpose in it. I suppose people might go to try to improve, but again there is a limit to how much a person can grow if they go alone, without any tutorship of any sort and do the same thing everyday. Maybe it’s so that they can have bragging rights?
I have a hunch that it has something to do with testosterone. Believe it or not, but shooting is a VERY male-orientated activity.
Well my curiosity was sated, and now I can say I’ve shot a gun before 😉

iPhone…
Sunday, December 25th, 2011I finally got an iphone!! It was a Christmas present, and while I have NO idea how to use it, I love it!!!
My number didn’t change though, but I don’t have any contacts in it just yet… It should be FUN to transfer all of those over from one to the other…

Snow…
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011So it finally snowed again! We got about a foot (possibly more!)
I can’t wait to go sledding and build a snowman (an upside down one)!!
We’re going to have a white Christmas this year 😀

William’s Bday…
Friday, December 16th, 2011So today was William’s birthday. He’s officially 11!! And probably twice the size I was at that point in my life…
I told my friend that and her response was “No. He’s eight. And will remain eight. He is not allowed to grow anymore.” She also told me to wish him a happy EIGHTH birthday 😉
I made him two cakes from scratch… we went with the box mix again… 😛
Although, all three were perfectly edible and delicious.
So happy birthday William!!!

Pearl Harbor…
Wednesday, December 7th, 2011Always remember and respect those who died in the tragedy 70 years ago!
I was incredibly disappointed to see that the Google Doodle for today did not include anything about this major American event. Made me loose a little respect for whoever does those things. We got one for Tom Sawyer but not for our fellow American lives? Not cool, Google. Not cool at all.
