The Color of Heather

So as many of you may have noticed, I haven’t blogged in a while. In a long while… in two months. Anyway, I’m finished with my classes, I’m done with homework (besides the homework I’m going to tutor tomorrow for) and I’m waiting with Ashley for our Anime to load, so I’ve decided to blog.

To catch you up, it’s semester 2 at CMU and last semester I didn’t do so great–I had a teacher mess me up big time, and I totally just bombed History… I hate History with a burning passion–so I’m going to turn over a new leaf. I turned 19 the day before I got back, so it’s a new year, and new me and a new headache of classes.

Tech and Society is a relatively boring class, not much to say… health is even lamer. College Algebra is a little harder than I thought because I’m totally over thinking everything. I can do the problems with calculus equations but not Algebraically…. which explains why I got half points on the pre-exam (luckily, it didn’t count for a grade). BUT! All of my friends either can’t do Algebra or are in the same boat as me (and in higher classes) and so I’m going to tutor to dumb myself down a bit. My Biology teacher is cool. She’s from India and her name is Aparna. I LOVE THAT NAME! Donno about my lab professor, that class is on thursday…

Outside of class, I’m still dating Bryan West. We rode the train back to school on January 16th, the day after I turned 19 =D He slept most of the way (as you can tell) and I mostly just drew on my new tablet and played video games.

Speaking of drawing tablets, I got one for christmas ^__^ I love it! It’s so much fun and I’ve gotten good with it. I started sketching pictures of people and some models. I drew this really pretty picture of a girl that went to high school with me. Her name is CaleyRae and she’s starred in a movie called Moon Ring (I think it’s about a girl and a ghost boy). She’s really pretty and extremely brilliant.

I’ve been hanging with my bestest friend, Ashley Aragon. Today we’re being bored and watching random youtube videos while Fairy Tail is loading. She’s also an amazing artist, and is extremely talented. I have a whole bunch of picture of what we’ve been up to… we went to a dance and she re-dyed my hair so it actually looks blonde without the redish roots….
