Ashley has a hard head

… or maybe not?  She took a hard hit to her eye/head, while taking a shot today at basketball practice.  She has a pretty good headache, a swollen eye and she’s gonna have pretty good shiner, but she seems fine.  She did comment “that she now knows for certain that “per square inch” a shoulder bone has more tinsel strength than steel.”  She’ll have to go through the process to be cleared from a concussion before they’ll let her back in the game, but we have a few days of rest before any impact testing.    Jeff and I both just wanted to know if she made her shot or not, but apparently she had a shoulder in her eye and didn’t see the result of her shot. 😉 some excuse eh? 😉  We always say “You don’t get points in this house unless you are bleeding… or rather, gushing blood.”  However, I did tell her that I think “possible concussion” does rate… hehe.  I’ll keep you posted on her progress.
