I get to chat with Jeff Roberti

I just have to say this… “Google Jeff Roberti….” THEN read this…

I was invited to a small gathering at a friend of a friend’s house in Eagle, CO and a chance to go snowshoeing, which I have never done. After a little rearranging of kids’ schedules and carpools, Jeff (“my Jeff” 😉 ) was helping drag me out the door… I mean, wishing me a good time 😉 My friend Amy is an RN and is the one who introduced me to Juice Plus for Courtney (and our whole family now). She picked me up and we had a smooth and uneventful drive up to the mountains, until we got to Vail… there was a multi-car accident (or multiple accidents, not sure which) and we ended up sitting with the car off for a while 😉 Not a problem for me as this meant I still had a captive audience while I talk 😉  At one point we did stop at a gas/coffee/cafe/gift shop and I couldn’t go near the door because of the alarm system… Amy couldn’t hear it!!! (NOTE:  see my other post re: sound frequencies for more about that) Fortunately, we arrived in plenty of time to freshen up before dinner. Eagle, CO is a GORGEOUS little town, if you ever get a chance to visit, you should.

Several of Amy’s friends all piled in her vehicle and we drove over together. This was your typical get-together: awesome healthy potluck, a pub over by the pooltable, a few good friends/family (15+ or so & kiddos) and some great stories. (ok… the pub might not be so typical but it was definitely a hit 😉 ). This was a gathering for Juice Plus, so of course, many of the conversations were regarding that topic, but it was all light-hearted and fascinating.

Meanwhile, Jeff (my Jeff) is texting me that they are eating an awesome dinner… but of course… I’m not there cooking! Sounds like they are all stuffed and are NOT missing me a bit

Being in a mountain town, much of the talk was about skiing, snowshoeing and then summer events like hiking, marathons & mountain climbing. One of Amy’s friends is a snowshoe tour guide… how cool is that? to get to snowshoe in the great mountain landscape AND get paid for it?!?! I can’t wait to get to go and try that. One of the guests/”guy that was gonna speak”… was Jeff Roberti. To be honest, I knew he was important and a motivational speaker but really had not heard too much about him. In this room, he was just a great, personable guy who was in Colorado to ski. He made the mistake of walking up and asking me if I like to talk…….. go ahead laugh… I did. Of course, I had to “do my thing” and say “Well, I usually answer that question from people by saying that: I have only met 5 people in my life that talk more than me… and YOU aren’t one of them. However, in this case you fall into the STRONG MAYBE category.” He was definitely curious and asked how many were in that category and I replied “Counting you… one.”

A bit later, we all gathered for about 30-45 minutes to listen to him tell us briefly about his success (that was the entire point of the get-together after all). Have to say… IMPRESSIVE and if you ever get a chance to hear him speak… you should. Afterward, it was back to the awesome buffet 😉 and bantering around the pool table. However, no one was playing pool… Ok, can you blame us? If you were in a room with this guy, you’d understand why. Just about everyone in the room has been involved with Juice Plus for a while, except me. I was looking for some nutrition (not vitamins) for Courtney and found it and she’s kinda convinced the rest of us that we need to take it too. I’m intrigued at the improvement in all of our health and interested in hearing more. I’m at this get-together kinda by accidental chance (been happening a lot this week… I’m just gonna go with it 😉 ). I told everyone about Courtney and how I am a bit frustrated that despite how desperate I was looking for “nutrition” for her, no one shared Juice Plus with me before now. At this point, I have discovered that MANY… MANY of my friends and neighbors already take Juice Plus. I basically told them all, including Jeff Roberti, that I am at the point now, that I am going to make sure that I do not make that same mistake. Jeff Roberti told us that over the years, he has always listened to one CD over and over again. It’s another motivational speaker named Jim Rohn, and he made sure we all had copies of that CD before leaving town. What a great gesture… and a great experience to get to chat, with Jeff Roberti.

Wanna know more… see my other post.
