It’s difficult to “be a Trekkie” in a roomful of non-believers 😉 This morning Ashley had to reach out to be appreciated!
Ashley: “I was helping Courtney with her Econ stuff and one of the questions was how long would it take for Bajor’s GDP to double.
I had a little Trekkie moment but her teacher is French 🙁
So she she showed me the problem and it said show the GDP in darseks and I was like “oh that sounds familiar.”
The next question was literally something like what will happen to Bajor’s economy if it continues trade with Kronos.
I just died. Like right there. I was laughing so hard.
And I said “the answer to when Bajor’s GDP will double is it won’t. The cardassians will reinvade by then.”
She looked at me weird but it was so funny and she doesn’t appreciate it. ”
I think Ashley deserves an “A” on Courtney’s homework!
