Well, Courtney’s mouth did not retain the changes when her braces were removed… so they put them back on today 🙁 I asked if she would let me take before and after photos… I’m still recovering from the death stare 😉

[pics incl] Today was our famous Beverly Hills HOA party & Jeff/kids started smoking the meat late last night, making everyone hungry & dreaming of food all night. I did manage to walk down there and then stayed much longer than my body wanted 😉 It was awesome! We have several new families and I had forgotten that we missed last year when we were in San Diego… the neighbors missed the BBQ 😉
ANYWAY… to get to the snake…
Ashley was walking me home … my vision is suddenly blurry again today (sigh) and she pulled me to the side so I wouldn’t step on the snake. I think you might agree that good vision or not, I was justified in asking her to point it out! [trust me… her toe is pointing to a snake]
Ah, it’s that time of year… where the Coleman store at the outlet mall brings in TRUCK loads of discontinued/scratch-dent items for a huge parking lot sale. I went 😉 I only managed to walk around the lot/tent once before needing to rest but YAY… sunlight and a short walk… might try lunch too! 😉
This was a bad idea as usual, because it just makes us want to buy one of everything … or six of everything! 😉
[NOTE: managed to go for lunch but it’s really still too loud for me to enjoy it or stay for too long. Baby steps I guess…]
It may sound corny, but I love it when y’all send me updates too! I love the pics of kids AND pets, vacations AND bad days at work, funny sayings AND crazy political views, … and I wish I could sample some of those things y’all cook. I love that we can all stay in touch and I wish I did a better job of it. I’m really hoping my brain will let me remember to send letters… especially to those that are OFF-LINE! I may not mention every day but I have tons of family (I count Jeff’s family/friends too!) 😉 Aunts-Uncles, Great Aunts-Uncles, siblings & parents, nieces/nephews, cousins, kids-of-cousins, 2nd/3rd cousins, 2nd Cousins-twice-removed-by-divorce… great friends and a few… I have no idea how we know each other! I often think of those that have passed on, especially on those special days… and I smile at what I think they might be doing. I think of YOU on those days and sometimes feel bad that I don’t let you know it. So, now you know. 😉
I am feeling better & stronger so I plan to pull out my address book and write some letters & send pics. Yes, I plan to make kids assist me!!! Although, y’all might be more amused at my writing if I fly solo! 😉 I’ll probably start with the “off-liners”… that is if I can remember that I planned to do this 😉 [“I can never remember why the smoke in my rememberall turned red!”–Neville Longbottom]
Of course, I have contacted a few of you newly-weds… I’ll try to remember to do those FIRST! 😉
I’ve had a couple of follow up appointments from my last hospital vacation 😉 [last one this morning] Basically, I’m cleared to go back to doing whatever my head/brain will allow me to do. I’m still white 😉 (from lack of sun) but now I’m PINK and not scary, deathly, pale.
Back to walking in the neighborhood again! However, I’m still not going to attempt this without supervision… just seems like the prudent thing to do since it’s apparent (to me & a nice chunk of the medical community in Denver Metro 😉 ) that if it can go wrong… it will happen to me!
If you’re bored and wanna walk really slow and possibly not very far… let me know ;-P
… blah, blah.. the sounds could be mistaken for a bingo game, except they keep hollering about battleships, etc.
Overheard:
HE: “Will you hurry up and sink it already?!”
SHE: “OK, I won.”
HE: “You did not, you have to guess first!
…bit of bickering back & forth, but since that is my most favorite sound, I elected to NOT intervene… 😉
SHE: “I AM GUESSING!”
HE: … ? … secretly I’m just as confused… I’m sitting off to his side.
SHE: “i-1”
…Soooo, glad I kept my mouth shut 😉

I’m watching Monk reruns… he’s trying to wipe a smudge off a window when suddenly a moth lands on the TV. I know no one will believe me so I’m trying to take a picture of Monk trying to get a moth off my TV… and now, for some reason, Jeff wants to check my meds dosage! [just so you know, flash doesn’t help photos of TV’s… I have the moth & a blurry photo! Does that work for you?!? ;-P ]

anyone know how to get them to heal? i’ll try to circle them but they are on my hand, wrist, forearm, elbow… almost up to shoulder. other arm looks about the same as this one.
