September 11th is now a day for remembering and reflecting on a tragedy that brought our country, and most of the world together in stunned silence. However, before 09/11/2001 people had weddings and birthdays and babies and funerals.

I remember that just a few minutes before the news, I had emailed a friend, sarcastically pointing out that he had reached 50. Now, I know he feels some trepidation and anguish over sharing this day.

Of course I will always remember 09/11/2001 as a date that goes down in history… but first, I will never forget that it’s your birthday!

Today is the 46th Anniversary of Star Trek… ya’ll should go waste some time playing with the Google Doodle 😉

ya know i always try to send an email or write on fb but why not here? I’m thinking about doing bday & anniversary shout-outs (no ages of course 😉 ). whatcha think?

Did you get a chance to check out the gorgeous full moon tonight?  None of my pictures came out but it was a sight to see.  It was also the 2nd full moon this month which makes it a “blue moon.”

We are considering changing our cell service provider. So, what service do ya’ll have and what are the pros and cons? We have had this one for many, many years but lately the price is going up and the service is going down. Often we do not get text messages or voice mail for days, and that’s if we get them at all. It’s very frustrating to pay for poor service.
