If you don’t know what a tribble is… you don’t know us very well ;-P

We’ve had a “live” tribble ever since that notorious trip to Las Vegas in October 2001. The tribble randomly appears after weeks/months of hibernation.

I found it tonight… under my pillow! I was “almost” startled 😉 And, of course, I promptly put it under someone else’s pillow. About an hour later, Ashley came in my room, mumbling about tribbles and put it under Jeff’s pillow, all the while accusing ME of putting it under hers… because she KNEW I had it last.

I assured her that it was NOT I that put it under hers but thanks for telling me how it arrived under mine… please go elsewhere for YOUR culprit 😉

As with Nerf Wars, there is only one rule about tribbles… oh wait… maybe not! 😛

[pics incl]  Ever since the fires started over a month ago, the sunsets have been spectacular with all the ash in the atmosphere.  We haven’t had any real rain in a couple of weeks, with temps around 100 and humidity <5%.  Makes for some hot, dry days.  Today, we had some steady rain for about 20 minutes.  The clouds hung around and the smoke intertwined with the clouds making some interesting reflections.  The camera doesn’t do it justice but thought you might like the views.

[pics incl]  I think the entire state of Colorado is on fire.  A fire started between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs and we can see the smoke from near our house.  It’s about 25 miles from here.  Those are NOT clouds in the photo, that’s smoke.  We haven’t had any clouds in a while and the humidity has been hovering around 5%!
