Dental fillings… poison

[Synopsis:  According to the speaker, dental implants prior to 1990ish can contain mercury.  Acids, ASPARTAME, and hydrogen peroxide rinses, cause mercury to erode into the blood causing many symptoms like thyroid, shaking hands, memory loss, fatigue, bleeding gums, and more.  A dental vapor test detected hers and it took months/years to remove the mercury but within several weeks most of her symptoms subsided]

[NOTE:  I have only done brief research into what she told me and was able to confirm much of what she said so I’ll pass along her story]

I met a woman at the grocery store this morning who is the grandmother of one of the kids’ classmates.  To make a long story short, her granddaughter mentioned that grandma’s teeth had poisoned her… which of course required a LONG explanation (as follows, this is HER story… not mine):

She said that she had thyroid issues several years ago when she was 53 (said she was 58 now) and during the course of a needle guided biopsy, the medical person noticed that her hands were shaking and asked about it, then asked her what she had been drinking.  Diet soda was in her cup (NOTE:  this is the kind with aspartame… important data point).  After her test, she got a call from her doctor asking her to come in for a dental vapor test.  Apparently, the medical person for the thyroid biopsy had started putting things together on a few of their patients over the previous year and almost ALL of them had mercury fillings.

She said hers were about 10x the allowed mercury readings!  Needless to say, she began treatments which took a long time because if you flush mercury from your blood to quickly it can damage your liver and kidneys.  She said after several weeks many of her symptoms subsided and she didn’t feel quite so old.  She said it took about 3 years to flush her kidneys but she still has mercury in some of her nerves 5 year later.

She had to have all her fillings removed and old root canals had to be either re-performed or the teeth extracted.  It sounds like it was and still is a tedious process and she is not sure if they will ever be able to determine if she has permanent neurological damage from the mercury.

She had been told that in her lifetime she had also probably been exposed to mercury many ways including her teeth but also antiseptics like mercurochrome (sp?), old style contact solutions and vaccine preservatives, and many more.

Now she watches what she eats and KNOWS the ingredients.  She said she also had to learn about products like light bulbs, electrical or medical equipment because many still contain mercury.

I am NOT Christine Reynolds

[PREFACE: As always, for Tier3, for better service: please email support or call the 800#]

Apparently Christine Reynolds gave out MY cell phone number… AND owes people money. I have been getting phone calls for her starting at 7:30am up to 10:30pm just about every 30-45 minutes… I literally have to turn off my phone! No amount of telling these people that I am NOT her and that I do NOT know her seems to be helping!!! They are filling up my voice mail and being completely unprofessional and RUDE! It amazes me that they can accuse ME of lying but would NEVER suspect the person that owes them money to have lied to them?!?! So if you happen to call, I changed my greeting to one that’s a bit “abrupt”… enjoy 😉

[NOTE: yes, I have reported the numbers that show up on callerID but they have gotten creative and are using “unknown caller ID” numbers now… one even comes across as a number from another country!!!]

Power Outage Protection

Power outage protection occurs when the power goes out while I am cooking.  I mentioned this on FB and apparently everyone agrees that the electric company was sparing my family from my cooking 😉  OK… I GET IT! 😉

What a storm!

I was out dropping Ashley off at basketball and the sky was falling… GREAT BIG DROPS… and then it was coming down so hard and fast, it was difficult to see.  I managed to get her dropped off and turned around to head home.  I was about halfway home, when the storm worsened.  The water was rushing across the road and was a few inches deep; as it hit the curbs, it lept up over to continue like a raging river.  I decided to pull over (as did most everyone else).  Good thing too, because right about then, it started hailing little tiny balls… and then increased to about dime size.  I was not a happy person!

As the storm let up ever so slightly, I continued on home and called Jeff from the driveway to open the garage door.  I bolted inside and he quickly closed the garage door and we found ourselves in complete darkness.  That is weird because we NEVER turn off that light, it’s a pain to find the switch in the dark 😉  Fortunately, we both had our cell phones and turned up the brightness for a “flashlight” effect.  I found the switch, but no light… and when I opened the door, the kids were yelling that the power had gone out.  FUN!

Jeff was thrilled because he was right in the middle of fixing dinner!  Everything was “mostly” done except the mashed potatoes, which would now have to just sit and wait until we could boil water again 😉  By this time, Ashley was texting that practice was going to end early.  I suggested Jeff take the truck 😉

While Jeff was gone, William and Courtney decided to play a game in the living room.  We opened the blinds to get whatever little light we could and they had a flashlight.  William had to take a break and went down the hall to the bathroom.  Courtney yelled out after him to “CLOSE THE DOOR!”  [note: this bathroom has no windows and we have no power] He just replied “Ummmm…” To which she elegantly responded “Oh.”  That made us all laugh for a good while!

The power was out for about 1.5 hours and apparently we will still be sacrificing a microwave to the cause.

[NOTE:  the mashed potatoes died a horrible, awful, terrible death… and we won’t discuss that here 😉 )]

How to fix a tire

Jeff and I have discovered how to fix flat tires on the yard tractor… We make Heather do it 😉  or rather, we have Heather TRY, so that she appears filthy and greasy, then we have her take it to the tire shop where they work on it… NO CHARGE and then offer to degrease her hands 😉  Works for me 😉
