“Ok, for you NON-trekkies… Neelix is a character on Star Trek Voyager… you’ll probably only get part of this….

Jeff went upstairs and shaved off his beard… only he missed a couple of spots… and had LONG whiskers in direct lines down both his cheekbones just under his glasses. I am seriously still laughing but unfortunately I let on what the problem was and he went and fixed it. I think it would have been hysterically funny if he went to play basketball as Neelix!”

true story about an owl and the girl who adopts him. Animal lovers must read. I don’t usually go for this kind of book but it was a great story… easy read… about 2 hrs!”

What’s so special about OUR backyard???

“So, I’m sitting here watching the herd of deer eat our grass in the backyard. It’s an awesome site and I never get sick of seeing it. However, what is so special about our grass? The neighbors on either side of us and all along here have grass, some much nicer than ours. BUT NOOOOO, they all bunch up and eat our grass like someone drew a line where fences would normally be located. It’s weird. And until I actually witnessed them digging up any grass seed we may have put down, I couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t grow grass in some spots of our yard. Oh well, price you pay for living on the edge of nature.”

“SOOO, last night at the condo we were sitting around the table eating…

Jeff looked at me and said… “Ya know, this is actually pretty good.”

I just matter-of-factly replied…

“That’s because YOU cooked it.”

I think everyone snorted their drink out their nose! It’s true though… they complain when I cook… so I don’t!”
