Look, it’s bright and sunny on BOTH sides of the house. 😉

Jordan stopped by, and ever since I forgot to take pictures on her birthday… she just minds me.

Apparently, I am allowed to be unbanned from the kitchen in order to make baby pies and rolls.

AND, the typical “holiday mishap” for today………. raining from the DISCONNECTED evaporator cooler. We probably would not have realized it so quickly if the kids had not been sitting directly beneath it, in a tradition of sitting at the top of the stairs, waiting to race to see what Santa brought. Jeff and Willian quickly figured it out. All better now.

Beverly Hillbillies’ Birthday Bash

Tonight was a great group: happy bday to Sonya, William, Rodney and Jeff (did I miss any??)! Ashley took photos so she’s missing in the pictures, THANKS! Lisa made Sesame Street party hats for Jeff & Rod. Lisa also made Apple Pie and Peach Cobbler… THE LIQUID VERSIONS. BBQ from Tim’s friend. His Voice is Changing

[NOTE: A few days later, we were on a speaker PHONE call (not Skype) with Courtney. I txt’d her later about William’s voice… she replied that she hadn’t talked to him recently. Um… yes you have JUST NOW! I was pretty sure before I txt’d, that she didn’t realize it was him!]

Delaying Christmas Cards

We plan to wait on sending cards, for Heather to return from Charleston AND Courtney to arrive back from China. Heather leaves Dec 21st and Courtney arrives Dec 23rd 😉 Drew and Heather are under orders to take “wedding announcement” photos! Hopefully we can get cards organized first week in January!

1) Yes, Courtney is returning to China in mid-late February.

2) Drew is on track to graduate earlier than expected, from Naval Power School in late January. It appears he will NOT get leave before immediately beginning his next training, so the current plan is “something short & sweet” quickly and once he gets REAL leave, we can put something together. At least, that was the plan as I think I know it, at the typing of this blog post.

William’s Shoes
