[pics incl] You either LOVE them or HATE them, there is no middle ground, nor learning to appreciate ;-). I’m in the love category, hence my daddy making them for dinner 😉 [I’m pretty sure he thought I was kidding when I said I always take pictures of people making good food! …or maybe it’s just food ;-). We did let those in the “hate” category escape.]
[pics incl] There’s a whole story here involving a LOT of pie and not enough milk. Somehow she convinced him to make her another glass, which he overfilled. He walked this far when I made her meet him to “resolve” the problem. [He is allergic to milk and therefore couldn’t drink it down himself. I insisted they let me take a pic… someday they might appreciate it 😉 or not 😉 ]

I’m not even going to attempt to explain what the Hematologist drew ;-). I’m officially a Coumadin failure (according to some blood work results). Soooo, I stay on lovonox (shots in tummy) until after MRI determines that I don’t have any bleeding in brain. Then they are gonna try [some pill I can’t spell nor say] which doesn’t have to be babysat like coumadin. [NOTE: it’s Xarelto]
Still have some head pains but taking few meds and just some regular tylonol as needed. Still fail my speech therapy spelling/reading tests… she’s making me redo them (yes, I’m back in school) 😉
MRI, later this week, will keep you posted.

The past few days, my vision has improved drastically. Dont get me wrong, I still have times where I have difficult seeing, slightly blurry or even mild dizzy but I suspect some of that is the meds. Just have to use “common sense” and be cautious. I still cannot see up close very well at all so “seeing” to read is difficult. Actually being able to READ is an entirely different problem 😉
One downfall of seeing better… sigh, I can “see” how out of shape I am… one thing at a time I guess 😉

Sigh… My head is in no condition to go to a loud movie; I cannot even watch loud TV yet 🙁 However, I sent Jeff, Courtney & William in my stead… no sense in holding everyone hostage to my head 😉

[pics incl] Courtney achieved Chinese National Honor Society. I also got a lecture on why this says May 16 vs. May 14 (think the Chinese version of Friday 13th and it might make sense). VERY PROUD!!!
[pics incl] Well, on the way back from Neuro, the speech therapy called to start this afternoon. Numbers are my nemesis (hehe, I spelled that all by myself 😉 ) and I still only know my animals a little bit. Apparently, I drew a kindergarten clock/numbers and I cannot tell time 😉 but look at me… I can hold the pen and kinda draw 😉 although the artist in me is APPALLED 😉 and “the perfect speller” in me is APPALLED 😉 I think I took a picture of it… If any of the entire test had been timed, I’d have failed all of it. However, I have improved from the hospital tests so that’s encouragind.
Multilpe sessions next week so hopefully, between my head improving and speech therapy, I can get “me” back 😉
And before you start questioning my “time telling skills” lets see how many of you actually have ANALOG clocks in your house and could do this 😉 She said 47% of those tested WITHOUT brain injories, get something wrong on this test.
