Good neighbors

We’ve had some new neighbors move in nearby and it was another’s birthday so the kids made up banana bread and delivered it to them and other neighbors. I wish I could take credit for that but I had nothing to do with it ;-). VERY PROUD OF THEM!

That’s sweet

There’s nothing quite like opening the pantry and having a FIVE pound bag of sugar fall on your head… an OPEN 5-lb bag of sugar!!! Yeah, Heather had to sweep for a while and I’m sure we’ll be finding sugar in strange places for a while. Interestingly, my pockets are full of sugar.

AHHH, I was informed later that it was in fact a TEN pound bag if sugar…

[NOTE: How can you be sure that you washed all the sugar from your hair? I kept thinking that all I did was create syrup… Still better than goose poop!]

How to help

[pics incl] Recently, a friend of mine posted something along the lines of “A true friend will help you up when you fall… right after they stop laughing.” I commented that not only would I laugh… I would grab a camera first 😉 Holding true to my motto, when the ketchup exploded on Courtney, I grabbed a camera 😉 But all was well in the end (for her hotdog that is)… we blame Uncle Rick for the ketchup addiction!
