Number 17 Retired

[pics incl] Jeff and Courtney chose to wait until today for their annual Father’s Day/Birthday baseball game. Todd Helton’s number, 17, was retired by the Rockies. The team rallied in the 9th with 5 runs, incl Stubbs walk-off 3-run, to win 10-9!

First Day of School 08/12/14

Camping at Blue Mesa 08/07/14

[pics incl] Upon arrival, Courtney proceeded to show Claudia how to crank the stabilizers… as if she has ever done it before?!? (notice she is NOT the one cranking) Daxton Lambrecht wants to know why William is carrying around uncooked penne pasta (actually, we all want to know)?!? How many adults does it take to cut a toddler’s hair?? There were LOTS of shelties (little itty bitty collie type dogs). We left on Sunday and stopped near Texas Creek for lunch. YES, I have an umbrella 😉 not allowed to be in the sun so I walk around like a dork 😉

Trip to Keystone

[pics incl] Jeff attended “Cable Labs” in Keystone and all the wives went up the first evening to meet for dinner. We had impressive gas mileage “down the mountain.” (look close) I took a photo of the “Bluegrass & Beer Festival” sign. 🙂 And NO! We walked around as it was closing up.

Group Snuggle

[pics incl] I spent too much time in the sun at the HOA party and my head demanded that I get some rest. Claudia walked by my room, still laughing about “being Courtney” so I asked her if she was gonna snuggle with me and watch TV, like Courtney does. It wasn’t long before Abby and Ashley appeared. 🙂

HOA BBQ 08/02/14

Courtney and Heather had to work so Claudia stood up and introduced herself as “Courtney Scott.” Everyone who knows better had a good laugh, we had to tell all the new folks otherwise. 😛

Nico wondered if he’d get “community service credit” (look close) and the “after party” lasted pretty late, so I went back outside!
