I “think” I managed to get Christmas cards out to everyone (expect the three of you that gave me incomplete addresses!!!)  If you did NOT get one, you should have (if you are getting THIS email, then I intended to send you one).  Please contact me!  I am still missing some stragglers… I’ll be recontacting some of you to track down your kids!

I have a handful (10-15) of “offline” people that I am going to do better about keeping in touch with!  Today… I did it!  I got cards sent out to all of them (yes, same kind of cards, where I can type… you still can’t really trust my handwriting because my brain and hand speak different languages!).  It may not seem like much, but I have ALWAYS written letters to … people … especially my elders (i.e. grandparents, great-aunts, etc).  I had fallen away from that a few years ago and it feels really good to get back to it.  Ask me later if it’s a good idea 😉

If YOU really prefer paper vs. electronic… let me know, otherwise I assume you are reading each and every one of my weekly emails and sit on the edge of your seat waiting for the next! 😉  If there is someone that you think I should add to my offline-list… please let me know (old family friends of mine/Jeff’s extended family are welcome… I probably already have them but let’s make sure).

After a flurry of emails between Michael and Dan and Paula, I “THINK” they have finalized a memorial date for Aunt Sis and they asked me to share it with all of you. Saturday, 17 May 2014, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville, INDIANA

A memorial Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 1:00pm at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1008 McLary Road, Nashville, Indiana. Attached is a map of the Church’s location in Brown County, Indiana, and their website at http://www.stagneschurchnashville.org/ includes detailed directions.

Those traveling from a distance to attend are encouraged to make any necessary lodging reservations at your earliest convenience, since Brown County is a favorite Spring tourist destination in Indiana. The Brown County State Park’s website at http://www.browncountystatepark.com lists and provides links for many types of lodging in the Brown County area, including inn, hotel and motel rooms, B&B’s and rental cabins.

They would like to know if you intend to attend. As of right now, there are no plans to have any type of reunion because they are thinking it will be just their immediate family. (FYI, I plan… to … try… to attend… pending next appointment).

Also, as many/most of you contacted ME to do your extended family Christmas cards 😉 I will be sending out an email with the extended Bacon’s & Eggermann’s info. Please watch for this and edit/add as needed for your group of family members. (contact me now if you know I am missing someone).
